The Story

Hartley's Original Pork Pies was established in 1900, and the Fall River shop bills itself as the oldest fast food in Fall River. The vintage photo on this page shows the shop as it looked decades ago, with the same "Est. 1900" sign out front.

The pies are English pork pies, made from a recipe that came over from England. The Somerset shop describes itself as a family-owned and operated bakery that bakes its pies fresh every day, honoring that original recipe.

Alongside the classic pork pie, the menu includes meat, chouriço, chicken, buffalo chicken and chili pies, plus salmon pies on Fridays and Saturdays.
